The '''Install Screen''' is a cut feature from Sonic Unleashed that would've been used to install the game's contents to a PS3's hard-drive. It is fully functional in the PS3 version of the game, but it is inaccessible without modifying the game's executable; some of the files used for this installation process are present in the Xbox 360 version of the game and in the PC version of Sonic Generations, although in that game the install screen doesn't work anymore.

These 8 images are present in a folder named <code>Install</code>, and whenever the installation reached a certain milestone, they would get switched randomly alongside a new text message. These are also present in Sonic Generations inside <code>bb2.cpk</code>.<gallery mode="packed">
